Okay. I've found out my Meopta Flexaret works, and the speeds are on. Yay me. The problem is one that I'm not sure how to fix, though. Boo me.

When I turn the wind knob to get to the next frame and prime the shutter for the next shot, the little lever that is supposed to engage the shutter doesn't make it far enough to do it. It misses by about 3 millimeters. It'll move the bar that primes the shutter, but not quite far enough.

So...anyone have any ideas as to how I could fix this problem?

How are you testing this - with film in the camera, with the back open, or with the back closed (and then presumably just opening the camera)?

I have a Flexaret VI and it will cock and fire with the back open or with film and closed, but it doesn't cock properly closed but without any film in it.

Yep, a Flexaret has to have film inside (a roll of paper backing alone will also work). Ohterwise it won't engage the shutter.

I also have the Flexaret VI, they are nice camera's and I have used it for quite some time untill I fucked up the cable release thread. Now I use the Flexaret IV, it's a little different in usage but it also has a 4 element lens which is very nice.
