In his book Platinomicon, Prof. @mikeware discusses four distinct methods for synthesising Ferric Oxalate. The fourth of these methods employs Barium Oxalate and Ferric Sulphate:
BaC2O4 + Fe2(SO4)3 --> 3BaSO4 (s) + Fe2(C2O4)3 (aq)
Prof. Ware says "this method appears to have been little-used."
Does anyone here have any experience with this specific method of synthesising Ferric Oxalate and can share their learning?
