Forgive me if this is already a well known fact in the circles of photography. The letters of Ansel Adams' first name can be arranged as "a lens". I know, too many stop bath vapors...

Why not use his last and first an get, "Mad as a lens".

I do think you should consider some rubber gloves in the darkroom.

I do not think gloves will help if he as been using mercury for Derrogotype. If so, he will be mad as a hatter!
