Attached is a Kallitype curve I created using ChartThrob. You my find it useful as starting point for your own or for purposes of comparison. A head check if you will.

The process I created the curve under is as follows:

1. Epson R1800
2. Pictorico OHP
3. Sodium Citrate Developer
3. Gold Toner
3. Arches Aquarelle paper
4. 7 min exposure under 80 watt black light bulbs

I started out using Stonehenge Rising paper and got very similar curves, but the exposure times were long and the prints got grainy and lost a lot of density in processing. I have had a completely different experience with the Arches.

Please provide any feedback on the curve. This is my first one. So, I would like to know if it works for you or is similar to your own experiments.

The file is zipped to ensure it gets past the necessary filters etc...

Thanks,

- John

I have only scanned black and white negatives for use with this process. I am not sure if that answers the first part of the question.

For ink I print using photo black (the glossy ink). The Pictorico OHP film says that you should use the glossy photo setting as a rule of thumb so I use that and have received good results.

Let me know if you need any clarification.
