RGB was the only lab in town that processed motion picture stocks shot in 35mm cartridges. They closed a year or so ago and i threw out much of my bulk loaded film. Let me know if anyone wants some of the new kodak vision 2 stocks and i'll ask the loader for some short ends on the job i'm on. It'll be either 5218 or 5217 process ECN-2.

Wayne, they use panaflex platinum's. I'm a lighting tech on the show, not in the camera dept.
I dropped off some e-6 there this afternoon and got more info. A and I purchased RBG's equipment and plan to process the film in batches depending on demand. Doug is the guy to contact at the lab.

Thanks very much for letting us know. I'll send some to them. They claim to be the only lab in the USA - what about Dale in Hollywood Florida? They do it for $4 a roll. With prints it is $12 a roll, compared to $25 at A&I.

RGB was the only lab in town that processed motion picture stocks shot in 35mm cartridges.

Surely you mean that RGB was the only lab in LA that would do it as a routine service for still photographers? If not, then LA is poorly served for movie processing compared to the rest of the world.

Best,
Helen

...I'll send some to them...

On second thoughts, I will not. Unless they are very out of touch with film processing in the USA, they would know that their claim to be "the only company in the US offering this process" is a lie.

I will continue to use Dale Labs. They have been offering this service for a long time.

Best,
Helen
