Dear all,
it is a pleasure to join this great photography forum. My name is Marco and I am a italian PhD student in Physics.
Photography is my passion and I spend a lot of time composing, developing and printing my negatives in my personal darkroom.
If you want you can see my actual photography projects, dedicated to abandoned places and to the Staglieno Cemetery in Genova (Italy), visiting my website:

www.marcoleoncino.it

All the photographs shown have been taken with 35mm, 120 and 4x5" film. In the galleries I show the scan of silverprints.
Have a nice day!
Best Regards,
Marco

Welcome Marco, your 'Abandoned Places' portfolio is superb, I love that sort work.

Welcome Marco, amazing how many people migrate from analog to digital, and then return to their roots. Congratulations on a good artistic move. Beautiful shots. Thanks. Don

Thanks a lot for your comments!

Perché è che opera è più raffinato in europa, specialmente in Italia, che altrove? (Sorry for the bad Italian: I am half Sardinian!)

I think that artwork there is really in the blood and that this sense of refinement seems to permeate all social strata. Grazie Marco. Although you are in the more industrial north, near Torino and Milano, there is no shortage of such mindset, even there, which puts quality artwork into the realm of the necessities for quality living. I never met even one boring person when I was in Italy for six months back in the early 70s. - David Lyga
