Whenever I run into a good camera dealer supplier or other source, I should share it with the Photrio community. Here is such a dealer for folks who are in Europe and into analog Nikon equipment: NikonClassics(https://nikonclassics-michalke.de). I have bought several items from there. All arrived on time, well packaged, and in pristine condition. The only time a flash stopped working after a month, it was replaced without argument immediately with a new one. It is a pleasure to deal with them! Of course, I have no affiliation with them other than being a very satisfied customer.

but I can understand it. Hat was the first full-frame digital Nikon and many Nikon shooters were waiting for it. I bought it too but , I didn't like its color rendering(too much magenta in tthe skin tones). That's much better in the Nikon D800 now!

Thanks, Ralph;
for your well balanced answer! - Yes! Even though I am still not using any digital camera I see some sense in it - particularly as you mention all the high expextations of "oulde" Nikon owners

Not technically or officially Europe anymore (that's just stupid--err, sorry for the political content), but if you're headed to London, Aperture UK stocks quite a bit of vintage Nikon gear, as does Fixation--they're the top repair place in London, but also sell new and used stuff. And then of course there is the great grandaddy of all Nikon stores in London, Grays of Westminster, where you'll be served by proper English gentlemen wearing ties. Prices to match.

I've shopped all three, and had very good experiences.

I haven't ordered from them since it would be a pain to get it shipped stateside, but nikon-film.com looks like it has a good selection of all things Nikon. A lot of which even comes with its box.
