If you can find American sizes, a #2 machine screw is very close to a 2mm, as I recall.

The British Association (BA) threads were quite common at one time in the UK and it's colonies:

10BA = 1.70mm Dia
9BA = 1.90mm Dia (non-standard)
8BA = 2.20mm Dia

Might still be available from a few good model shops outside of England.

When I needed to get screwed, I got my M2 hardware from Microfasteners in Lebanon NJ. 1-800-892-6917. They had a website but it isn't listed on the label. I seem to recal the price was reasonable and they offered small quantities. My experience at hobby shops (even the ones specializing in radio control) wasn't as good -- they seemed to have low stock in small screws, or pre-packed screw sets for specific vehicles that were VERY expensive.

I need 2mm dia' brass countersunk nuts and bolts, but only about two dozen of them...
Hi John,

My regular screw source has 2mm flat-head brass in 6mm, 10mm, and 12mm lengths. Which do you need and how many?

I don't know what a 'countersunk nut' is. :sad:
