I don't think so.
What would the 'normal size' be?
Keep in mind that contemporary display resolutions range from around 72dpi (larger and somewhat older/low end desktop displays) to roughly 550dpi or so (modern high end smartphones).
I'd love to see the eye control that Canon used in the A2e/EOS5 in the 90's. That worked surprisingly well for me. I'd like to be able to pick a focus point simply by looking at it.
If a new Pentax was just like a Nikon N80, it would be perfect. But then again, I can get an excellent N80 for $20 so no need for a new Pentax.
N80 is a real good working horse, same with F100.
But ( sorry ) I used to use two N80 with data back.
I really used them a lot.
But at the same time the cameras are the resason that I will never again buy a camera with just a faint hint of plastic.

NO PLASTIC PLEASE !
perhaps you know the F55, F60, F65, N80, F100 problem with
P.L.B...... = P. lastic L.atches B.rocken ... ! Both N80 are on
the fritz!
OK. you can replace the back, but a new data back caused from a plastic part of 0,4 cent.......!
There is a member on this site who has a metal repair kit in case you have a broken latch on an N80 or F100.
I'm preventing mine from breaking by holding the latch open when I close the door, then releasing it, so it never snaps shut.
I know Huss, there are different repairs for this problem. A good tape will also help for a while.
But some years ago I sent both of them into early retirement.
Now when I shot film with Nikon I use this beast :

like stepping out of a Toyota to sit in a tank......
Bulk, tough, and military style. The spirit of Pentax camera.

I have removed a number of off-topic images from the opening post. I agree that non-essential imagery should be kept to a bare minimum for obvious reasons of readability and bandwidth consumption.
Coincidentally, have you realized that transferring data is not free, either? "Our major finding is that the Internet uses an average of about 5 kWh to support the utilization of every GB of data" - many publications with findings of a similar nature are available. Please limit the use of off-topic images, and limit the dimensions of embedded images to the smallest size that still works for their purpose. I find that a dimensions beyond ca. 800x600px tend to offer little added value for the vast majority of illustrations.
The Nikomat is ok, but I much prefer the Nikkormat.
