O.K so I have now proved that the Cosmic 35m I have works, It did pull the film out of the cassette but I think this was maybe because I used a slotted real from inside an old film casing which maybe gripped the film to well ?? Next time I will use a little masking tape on the original take up spool which I found in the camera. ( A smooth inner from a film cassette). It's a steep learning curve for poor old me but I thought I would share a few photos from my Caravan weekend. All the photos were taken just using the Symbols on the Camera ( ie Sunny, over cast, dull) The Iso was 200 but had to be guessed a little as the nearest marked setting was 160 so I set it just over this, as the two settings are fixed to each other this gave me an f setting of approx 13/1.Here we are.

Taken in full darkness using a flash

Taken in bright sun light

A gain taken in Bright sun light

Taken in dull misty conditions.

I'm quite impressed.

Awesome! You did it most cosmic way!

On Russian Rangefinder forum whose who follow the symbols for exposure and focus on those cameras are considered as true film jedi.
