Just a note to offer some congrats to one of our members and friend to many, Per Volquartz.
Per has recently returned from a month long stint teaching at the Normal University Photography Department in Shanghai, China.
Also, this year he's had the following exhibitions:
Spring:
Shanghai Central Library, Shanghai, China
Group show: The American West (also included myself, Gustavo Castilla, Mark Edward Harris, Nick Ut, Frank Su Huang, Roberto Ysais, Bill Theis and Bill Purcell)
Spring:
The Unique Hill Gallery, Shanghai, China
One man show: Per Volquartz. Embracing Minimalism.
Summer:
9th Shanghai International Photographic Art Exhibition 2008
Group show, major participant
(By invitation only)
Summer :
Fuji Salon, Ginza, Tokyo
Group Show
Fall:
Tibet, China
Photographic Art Exhibit, 2008
In 2009 he's been asked to teach in Beijing and again in Shanghai.
During this recent teaching visit, he and Frank Su Huang had a nice softbound book printed titled "Music for your Eyes". Here's a link showing the print editor and Per and some of the included images (slow to load...patience).

Anyway, congrats to my friend for continued success.
