a compact camera with soldered-in batteries

I got my hands on a Fuji dl-200 a few months back. The original BR2/3A battery was long dead, so I bought a CR-P2 thinking it would fit. When it didn't, I cut off the plastic casing, prised the contacs off of the original battery and then taped them onto the now naked CR-P2 contacts with electrical tape. I got worried for a minute when the battery pack started heating up, but.then remembered that all Li-ions will throw some heat initially because of resistance. Great success, camera now works like a hot damn!

Thank you for the update.
Funny, just these days I had another sample of these in my hands.

But still the question from post #1 remains...

I just got a Fuji dl 200, it didn't come with a battery holder, how can i get it to work without soldering it

Welcome!
Well, post #26 shows a way to do it without a soldering iron.

My dl200 was near mint off eBay. I was disappointed in it though. For whatever reason it often underexposed all but the fastest of film unless I was shooting in full sun.
