April 2 is my girlfriend birthday. She is in love with James Cagney (and with me, of course), I found thre large format negatives from the 60s with J.Cagney on the set of "the gallant hours" I bought them and printed them my self in the darkroom. They came out preetty good considering how old they are. Is there any way to know who took these pictures?

I printed them square format because I only have a 6x6 enlarger and contact prints as well.
the frame is added in photoshop to preview the final product.

How could I frame the negatives as well?

My guess is that credit is owed to Madison S. Lacy, who was the still photographer for the movie:

I'm amazed that your girlfriend knows of James Cagney: most anyone under the age of 50 have probably never heard of him, although he was truly a great actor.

How did you get the negatives?

I bought them off Ebay USA. well she is into noire movies, altough this one is not from a noire, it still is a picture of one of her favourite actors!
