A lightweight. When I visited Eric Beltrando several weeks ago the conversation turned to Boyer. He remarked that he'd seen 2500/12.5 Apo-Saphirs in the factory, said they weighed 200 kg.

I wondered about this also. Maybe they are used for mounting, adjustment, or disassembly.

I could use that focal length in an Exakta mount.
