9x12 or 18x24cm plate holders

I am about to try to make some glass plate negatives, but only have some 9x12 cm holders that are in very bad condition. Does anyone know if it is possible to make a glass plate holder out of a normal film holder? Or where I can find glass plate holders that fit standard backs, 9x12cm or even better 18x24cm?
