finding a good plate holder can be frustrating. My favorite holder has gotten to the point where working with it is difficult. The silver nitrate has eaten away most of the wood and its falling apart so i decided to make my own out of ABS plastic. I have been working with some industrial designers I know and we have come up with a great design. I have been selling them on another forum but thought i would post them here as well. they tak a full sheet of 8x10 glass or tin and are $350 plus shipping ($11 domestic ) I have 4 left of the the first batch and will be making more if there is enough demand. A 4x5 version is in the works as well.
thanks for looking.

Gandolfi,

from their website:
"/.../ the holders are crafted to fit all standard cameras, barring the need to retrofit, trim or alter the camera, plate or holder."

So now there are no excuses...

Cool with 11x14! I am keeping my hope up for a slightly smaller size...
