Nope. No more 8x10 IR being made that I'm aware of. Sad. I'm down to my last 50 sheets of Efke 8x10. You may want to keep an eye on the auction sites...
I believe there is an IR sheet film used in the printing industry. I remember seeing a post on it with a link to a supplier, but don't remember any other details. It was here or at the LF forum. From what I can remember, it is extremely slow and contrasty, like ortho litho film with IR sensitivity. There was also an image posted of a scene taken with this film. That's about all I can remember.
IR imagesetting film. Yes, I forgot about that stuff. It looks like it is sensitive out to 820nm... like Efke's. I wonder if it has an antihalation backing? I hope not. Anyways, I sent a US company who offers it, an email about price... http://www.imagesettingfilm.net/imagesetting-film/infrared-imagesetting-film
Just heard back from Peerless. $129US per roll. That's 150 8x10 sheets. Pretty good if you don't mind cutting it down in the dark. I wonder what the ISO would be with a 72 or 87C filter....
That's great.... great price... I just can't measure and cut and manage a roll in the dark. :/ ... And certainly not within tight enough tolerances to sit well in the holder. And then you have to notch it to identify the emulsion side.
If someone has this capability, I'd be happy to buy at least 50 sheets....
Ultima IR Imagesetter, is only sensitive up to 720nm. In my books, that's makes it only an extended red film. I won't bother with it. I'll just continue working with the remaining 8x10 I have, and the 4x5 Rollei IR.
