This Eastman View No. 2 (c. 1914-1917) is in good working condition. The camera has rear swing and tilt, and front rise. The leather carry strap is missing, but is easily replaced.
The bellows have obviously been replaced and are light tight and in excellent condition. Full extension is just over 24". If you've ever used one of these old cameras, you know that the focusing gears are not super smooth.
This kit comes with the oft missing rear extension as well as the tripod block. The rear extension appears to be from another camera as it is slightly more worn.
The lens shown is included. It is a Wollensak Velostigmat 1a 10" f/6.8 convertible lens in a Betax No. 4 shutter. . It can be used with both elements at 10", just the rear lens to shoot at a 15.5" focal length or the front lens for a 20" FL. The glass is scratch-free and fungus-free. This lens is a 6.5" x 8.5" lens that covers 8"x10" stopped down. Front lens cap is included. The Betax shutter works, but speeds are off. All speeds seem to fire at around 1/25s.
8x10 and 5x7 film backs are included with good ground glass. I'll also throw in some expired Arista B&W film for you to get rolling right away.
It won't take much dusting and polishing and this camera will be really beautiful. I like the appearance of these better than the 2D because the nice maple stain.
Price is $900, plus shipping from Kansas, U.S.A.
