I saw the strangest lens today. It was a Schnider Retina Xenon 50mm f2.8, mounted on an old 8mm Bell & Howell cine camera (yes, Retina Xenon). It was an OEM lens, not a remount of some kind. It was quite small, all chrome, probably 1" diameter by 1.5" long with a substantial built-in lens hood.

Anyone seen this lens before or know anything about it? It's probably useless to me but I've never seen a Retina Xenon on anything but, well, a Retina.

Retina is a tradename of Kodak in many countries. Finding it on a B&H camera is puzzling.
