This was made about 5 minutes before the Goerz factory ran out of black paint and started polishing the brass on the front barrel creating, you guessed it, the Gold Rim Dagor!

Such is my luck in all things. This is a lovely wide field f6.8 Dagor that easily covers the 8X10 format. The poor man's 8X10 wide angle, but there isn't much for movements really.

Coated Goerz Dagor's are legendary for how they handle contrast. They're just a pleasure in use and have that dagor look that people haven't stopped talking about since 1895!

This one has a hint of some red clouding in the back right at the edges. Always been that way since I've had it. Never hurt a thing. But it's there, so if you're the pedantic perfectionistic type, please don't buy this from me.

It's a superb imager. Glass is gorgeous. Shutter runs flawlessly. Most useful lens in your kit! See below for a way to double it's productivity. a Goerz Casket set???!!

$395 + shipping.

12" f9 Goerz Robertson (RD Artar) Fits the shutter above!

So this coated Goerz Robertson 12" f9 has traveled with the 8 1/4" Dagor above for a long time. Here's why;

You take the 12" out of it's barrel in it's little brown leather case and screw the elements into the shutter that the 8 1/4" Dagor lives in and voila! A 2FER

8 1/4" Dagor and 12" RD Artar (doesn't say it, but that's what it is) that take up very little more space than just the Dagor alone.

$85 extra for the Roberson please. No extra shipping when bought together. The 12 Robertson won't cover 8X10 though.
