7x17" film DESPERATELY

Hi,
I am shooting a pinhole project for which I built a 7x17" camera.
I started shooting with Bergger BPF200, then I moved to Efke KB100 which has great tones but had a fabrication defect.

Now almost all 7x17" films seem to have gone out of production! Bostick & Sullivan has FP4, but it has too low reciprocity for long exposures. I would love to use Adox, but Fotoimpex only lets me order 10 packages at a time.

Anybody knows where to buy 7x17 today?

Xray film-7x17 14x17 14x36 etc cheap enough to see reciprocity in action.
Full speed blue is reported by folks to work at EI 200-250 or so, Green @ EI 125, in daylight ,so perhaps it will work for you.

Someone on the LF forum is selling T Max 400 7x17 and 14x17 to be cut down, frozen but expired.

I think there's still time to get in on the Ilford ULF special order, and you should be able to get HP5+, if FP4+ is too slow for your needs. There are various distributors. I've used The View Camera Store.

word is they are waiting for big master rolls ( 100 + 400asa )
to arrive and they will custom cut film to any sheet film size
( like they used to ) ...

mmh, I am not sure whether to venture into X-ray film. I am developing in Formulary ABC+ for palladium printing. Would I get the right tonal range and contrast?
I will have to wait for the large photography forum since I just subscribed and only 7+ day old subscribers can access the sales area. And I wrote Photowarehouse.

And, of course, I made a mistake in the previous post... it's the Efke PL100, not KB100.

Too bad 7x17 is getting so rare. It is such a beautiful format.

Reciprocity failure of FP4+ is no worse than that of PL100. If the Adox film suited your purposes, FP4+ should do so admirably.

c6h6o3, I think you are right. I compared the results of my reciprocity tests with Bergger BPF200 and Efke PL100 with some charts I found about FP4 and they look very close. I just thought Efke/Adox would be more forgiving with underexposure, due to their high silver content. Plus, the new Adox CHS has the clearest base I have ever seen (at least in the 35mm version), and that helps a lot with palladium printing.
