I have a brand new Axinon in that length (very expensive in it's day--40 yrs ago). I also have a brand new 45mm Axinon for 35mm. I'm hoping the 72.2 will do 6 X 6. Yes? No?
Made by Freidrich in Munchen, Germany. The 45mm 4.5 cost $247 40 yrs ago. Tiny jewels!
Lenses vary in their design but usually one considers that if the focal length is greater than the diagonal of the negative then you should get good coverage.
My 45mm has click-stops. I used an older one w/o them on my Durst enlarger & it worked fine. TIP: I think there's still a new 45 available on ebay for the price I paid---$25 + $5 ship!!!! (I bought 2 of them). Brand new!!! It's 25mm mount, but use a plastic adapter--a metal one is too snug.lenses that price that long ago may have been process lenses designed for 1:1 or 1:2 enlargements but I'd be guessing about that.
