I have a brand new Axinon in that length (very expensive in it's day--40 yrs ago). I also have a brand new 45mm Axinon for 35mm. I'm hoping the 72.2 will do 6 X 6. Yes? No?

Lenses vary in their design but usually one considers that if the focal length is greater than the diagonal of the negative then you should get good coverage. Usually 80 mm lens are used with 6x6 negatives so you will have to see what your lens does. You really don't want to push things as there will be light falloff in the corners.

My 45mm has click-stops. I used an older one w/o them on my Durst enlarger & it worked fine. TIP: I think there's still a new 45 available on ebay for the price I paid---$25 + $5 ship!!!! (I bought 2 of them). Brand new!!! It's 25mm mount, but use a plastic adapter--a metal one is too snug.
