This 2421 film can be cut and loaded with a red lamp burning. It doesn't see red at all.
It's slow. Like ASA3 slow. If you've used APHS lith film before, this is very similar. I have pages at my web sit about developing this stuff successfully. Microscopic grain. LOTS of silver.
Don't worry about the age, this stuff takes a long LONG time to develop film base plus fog. I tested it in 2005. It was fine. $120 That's 10 cents for a 5X7 negative!!
