6x7 lens on C700

I'm currently using an Omega C700 enlarger and I want to print some 6x7 negs, but I'm having trouble finding 90mm lenses with the 39mm thread. So, my first question is whether anyone has used this enlarger to print 6x7? Omega states that it can print up to 6x7. Secondly, would I run out of column with a 105mm lens? I'm keeping my eyes open for a steal on a bigger enlarger, but for the time being I'm stuck with the C700. Thanks.

The lens mount is pretty standard any more.
Schneider,Rodenstock & Nikor will be 39mm mount. With a 105 you will have a smaller print for the same extension but you can raise the column by putting a block between the column and the base board.
Beseler did this before they came out with the 23XL's.

I have four C-700's and they all work just fine.I have an extra Rodenstock 90/4.5 Omegaron that I could sell. I have an Omega Pro 4x5 as well. These are some of the best enlargers ever made. The 700's are still made, and parts are quite common. They are a nice size for smaller darkrooms, about half the size of my 4x5 machine. PM me if you are interested in the lens.

You can also use some companies 80mm for enlarging 6x7, I use a Nikon 80mm 5.6 on my c760.

They are a nice size for smaller darkrooms, about half the size of my 4x5 machine.

And about a 10th of the weight.

I too have used a Nikor 80mm on a C700 for 6x7 negs and it worked OK.

Do you have any noticable light fall-off in the corners with the 80mm? The one I used had a wee bit, but not that evident when I cropped.

That's my concern with the 80mm. I can't stand light falloff. I'd rather use a different focal length and print smaller.

No, it seemed fine on my C700. I have an 80mm on my D5 as well, on it I can see a slight fall off on the corners.

I have a Rollei Nikor 6 x 7 enlarger. What lens would recommend for me?

I'm only planning on printing up to 11 x 14.

A 105mm or a 90mm would be great. I have both and usually choose the 105mm.

I use a Rodenstock 50/3.5 el omegar and a Rodenstock 50/2.8 rodagon for 35mm, A Durst 75/4.5 Comprotar and a Schneider 80/4 componon-s for 6x6, Rodenstock 90/4.5 Omegaron and Wollensak 90/4.5 for 6x7, a Solar 135/4.5 and Schneider 150/5.6 Componon for 4x5. I dont have a 105, thats next on my list. I dont think I would use anything longer than a 90mm for 6x7, enlargement size will start to shrink, although corner to corner sharpness would be (theoritically)brighter.
