Super Slide frame is about 35x35, at least I have mounts of this opening, so this would illuminate fine if projector is good enough to illuminate standard 35mm slides.

"Superslides" generally came from cameras giving 12 exposures on 127 film ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/127_film ), with the image norminally 40 x 40 mm. I have seen projectors which cut off the corners of a projected image of this size, so it would be worth checking if anyone were thinking of buying a projector for Superslides ?

What I specifically indicated: there are frames (which I happen to own too) with 35x35 opening. Which most likely were to make sure a "super" slide would be easily projected on any 35 mm projector.

The nominal size for Superslides is 40x40mm.
The official film gate size is a bit larger, the copy mask gate a little smaller. For slide mount gates the figures vary. German projector manufacturers typically refer to 38x38mm.

A good cheap American made mid-century-modern 6X6 projector is the Realist 620 Deluxe.

One may wonder why west-german manufacturers were so reluctant on superslides. (I refer to those manufacturers as they were many with countless models.) I did not find any indicator that superslides were popular at all in West-Germany.

Rolleiflex was pushing superslide on 120 film adapters for the T and Rolleicord Va/b.
A lot of wasted film real estate with these however. 12 shots on 127 just isn't enough...
too bad because some of my favorite cameras use 127.

^^ If you haven't already, I'd suggest you check for used 6x7 projectors and their prices ( it's enough to take your breath away ) . Peter
