Good morning,
I was looking for a recessed board for my 65mm f7 super topcor for my VH, but as I can't find one, I considered to get a 3d printed one, or build it myself. Do anyone knows somobody who prints and sells them, or alternatively someone who has done it can tell me the exact measurements to build the design? For example, I'm not sure how wide the central hole should be, and how far the plate should recede.

Thanks,
Marco

Not sure if he handles that specific camera and board. but I've dealt with this guy outside of Toronto for good results. Not only was his 3-d printing very good, he knows cameras and understood my concerns on a custom part and made it work the first time.

Why? They were sold on a flat board, so shouldn't need a recessed board. What have I missed?

I recently sold a flat, metal board on EBAY. There were plenty of others listed then -- and I assume still are now.

I have come across three versions.

1) Early version with hammered metal finish. Flat lensboard
2) Later version that accepts interchangeable solenoid with recessed lensboard.
3) ER-1 version with built-in solenoid. Also recessed.

My experience is the shutters are actually different in that the lens elements of the early one won't fit the shutter of shutters mounted on the recessed boards.

The 75mm was the same way (came in two different shutter/lensboard configurations). The lens elements are not interchangeable between the two.

Because with flat board and 65mm movements will be limited, as the lens is inside the camera.
Later booards are recessed to solve this problem

Hi. Is not possible to dismount completely the lens and the shutter and mount on a new (recessed) board?

Yes I think swapping shutters would work but did not try.

In my case, since the lens cells wouldn’t screw in to the shutter on the recessed board, I took all the glass elements to swap those (foggy for clear)

However, once I had all the glass elements removed, they cleaned up just fine, so no swapping needed.
