Anyone interested in ordering some 5x7 TMY-2 (TMAX 400) should contact Keith Canham via email. See here
for the address. Apparently my message six weeks ago prompting Thomas Mooney of Kodak Alaris succeeded in motivating him to ferret out whatever Eastman Kodak problem had been causing Keith to be quoted exorbitant prices (around $450, not counting shipping to retail customers) for the last several years. The cost this time is reportedly $255 per 50-sheet box, including shipping. I committed to two boxes, with the added comment that, if things seem dicey as Keith approaches the 70-box minimum, I might be able to swing one or two more.
As of now, nearly half of the minimum has been spoken for. It's been quite some time since an opportunity like this presented itself. If you want the film, unless you've got $18,000 available to drop on your own complete 70-box special order, strike while the iron is hot.
