Folmer & Schwing 5x7” Press Graflex--(1921-22). Leather top handle by Bert Saunders, 2007; shutter serviced by Camera Doctor NYC, Sept. 2023
Schneider 21cm f:3.5 Xenar in barrel, coated by B&J--(1925-28)--Does not focus to infinity on this camera, but good for portrait distances. A little hazy with some coating damage around the perimeter. I've cleaned the outer surfaces of the cells but not the inner surfaces of the two elements in the front cell, which is beyond my disassembly abilities.
B&L 5x8 f:4.5 Tessar 1c (8.75”) in barrel on 4x4” wooden lensboard for 5x7” Press Graflex--(1921-22)--The lens that came with the camera
3 Graflex 5x7” plate holders with film sheaths (one with a 4x5" plate adapter and film sheath).
1 like-new Graflex 5x7” film holder in box
Graflex 5x7” 12-sheet film magazine for Press Graflex
Graflex 5x7” 12-plate magazine for Press Graflex with 12 film sheaths purchased from Lens & Repro--they had it on the shelf for years, they said, and didn't know what it was for until I brought my camera in.
18 5x7” to 4x5” plateholder converters with 4x5” film sheaths (so you could shoot 4x5” film or plates), plus a couple of extra 5x7" film sheaths.
If there is room in the box, I would include any expired 5x7" film I have in the freezer, and if you can use them, I have some 5x7" film hangers for Kodak type 5x7" dip-and-dunk tanks. The bag mags are all loaded, I believe, but haven't been frozen, so it's good film to use for practice.
Video here showing how it works, I can shoot some stills, if there is interest—
Reason to sell: thinning the herd, thinking about another video camera.
Let's say $2500 + shipping from the U.S. for the lot. You won't find another 5x7" Press Graflex in good working order with a coated 210mm f:3.5 Xenar and two bag mags anywhere.
