5x7 hard rubber tank lids

Long shot here, I've been trolling eBay for months and not found one, perhaps someone out there has one laying about, I'm looking for the floating lid for a Kodak 5x7 hard rubber tank, willing to buy the tank and lid if I have to. And before you ask, I have both 4x5 and 8x10 tanks. thanks!

Hey, thought of you, I’m going through some darkroom stuff and one of my tanks has a home made floating lid. It’s plexiglass so it wouldn’t be had to make. Here’s a photo. My other thought would be to us Sintra Board (foamed pvc) which should float so all you would need is a flat piece and some sort of handle.

You can also use spar varnish or "System 3" epoxy on a light weight Basswood board
, and a round wooden drawer knob, with a stainless steel screw holding it together.

As long as you give it sufficient coatings of varnish or better yet, the epoxy, it'll float without soaking up or polluting your chemistry, but first, slightly round over the top and bottom edges first.
