DESCRIPTION: Eastman View No.2 Improved Model Of Century View And Empire State No. 2, 5x7. Wollensak Velostigmat Series I F6.3 5x7 No.18925 lens. Optimo No.2 shutter. Also includes one extension rail and one film holder. Solid brass hardware. Wood looks like its Cherry. As shown.
CONDITION: For 113 years old, I would say this camera is in very good condition. All operations are working, but could be improved with cleaning and adjusting. Bellows is firm and intact but does have pinholes in the corner edges of folds. Ground glass has some light wear and soiling. Lens glass has separation. Shutter is actually working at all speeds and sounds pretty darn accurate. It hangs up a little on the slower speeds, but with some exercise it should improve. The film holder is okay, but is falling apart, has no hinge and has come unglued. In my opinion, a very solid example for restoration.
