I've bought some Tri-X pan packs (16 exposures) in 523 film packs and realized that I need an adapter for it. When I tried it with my Fuji PA-45 holder, the pack fit perfectly, but the pulling tab was not accessible from outside.

Can someone tell me what kind of adapter I need and where I can get one?

Thanks!

You need an actual Film Pack Adapter -- there were many of these made to fit Graflok and similar camera backs, possibly some that will fit spring backs as well. You can generally find them on eBay for between $5 and $10, since they're effectively worthless unless you find some NOS film (as you've done).

Yes, it was -- sorry, didn't get back here before the auction ended. Those come up all the time, though; just set up a search with e-mail notification for "film pack adapter" and optionally add the camera or back type you want it to fit, and you'll get messages every day or two on it. And be a little patient -- put the film in zipper bags in the freezer, it'll keep a little longer -- and you might get one of those film pack adapters for $1 plus shipping...
