There are more film chips and dust on plus-x.

Everyone's experience with a film can be different. However having shot several hundred feet of 5222 represented by several bulk rolls It has not been my observation that the quality control of Eastman films is any different than those labeled as Kodak which are probably the best in the industry.

If you are using a stock bottle or replenishing it is only caution to filter.
The chips glue on real good.
And sorry don't know where the plus-x came from!
I've used about 1500 feet of 5222.
