I'm hoping to run some Kentmere 400 in 510 Pyro later today. Can't find any times!

Anybody have something from experience? If not, I'll just use the HP5 time...

Were you able to evaluate film speed? I ask because I mixed some up a few years ago and found film speed with Neopan400 to be unusually low. Other developers that I've mixed from scratch have behaved predictably.

I was shooting with a 'toy' type camera, so it's tough to evaluate film speed. The negs I shot in good light seem pretty good. I'm looking forward to trying 510 with a real camera though to be sure.

Many love 510. I struggled to get shadow detail with my equipment and techniques. It was nice and sharp but the toe was so long for me....

Years ago, I had several email exchanges with Jay about his developers. He said that his only photographic interest was taking pictures of his family. From this, I inferred that his concern was with Caucasian skin tomes. Looking at the photos he posted online, I think I was correct. There were nice variations in skin tone, but the shadow detail was not there. I tried using 510-Pyro for landscapes but was unable to get the shadow detail I wanted.
