Hey guys,

I'll be turning 50 on the 22nd and my mom, sister and my dad got me a Saddleback brand gadget large camera bag. oMG!!! This bag is beautiful. Rollei's look awesome in it. Maybe I'll snap a quick pic this week if you guys want to check it out.

Happy soon-to-come Birthday! All I ever got photography-related on my birthday was a picture being taken of me holding up a sweater. At least I'm warm...sniff...

For my 50th, my wife told me she was pregnant. Beware of younger wives. But, 12 years later I still have my present, and probably will for a while.

True dat. 40 to 48 took at least twice as long as 50 to 58 has.

I used to tell the boys in my classes that I was 112. They would respond, after laughing, that I didn't look bad for 112. Now the truth is I feel it.
The 50's go fast. Truth. Enjoy them. The 60's are not any better, believe me.

What you need to do is look at your family history, your bad habits, and rate of medical advances. Figure out roughly how long you will probably live, and start counting backward at the midpoint
