I will be receiving axp 30 rolls of Velvia next week and was wondering if it would be good? I haven't checked the dates (it's free) and the person told me they haven't shot anything since 2004. It was stored in a box, no freezer or anything. If the film is not good i still can cross process it.

Thanks

I found some ten year old EPP in a shoe box a few years back. Speed, color and contrast were like new.

shoot some for a test, or just send it all to me instead. Velvia stores well in the fridge but I can't vouch for room temp. I've been shooting epp lately (the original double-sided readyloads) that expired in 1991. It's awesome, but it's always been frozen.

I've had Velvia of that sort of age shifted distinctly magenta.
