The Harbour City Photography Club's adjudicated print exhibition, PhotoSalon, will be held at the Nanaimo Museum from April 9th to May 23rd, 2010. I'll have 5 entries in it. I suspect there won't be alot of analog work, so I'll have to wait and see if the judges are dazzled by digiglamour.

Well the show opened on the weekend. It looks like I'm the only one who submitted analog work. I didn't place, but as a silver medal went to a photo of shelf full of stuffed animals, that looks like it would be very popular in a store selling furnishings for nurseries, I'm not too upset. At the opening I did talk to a number of people who liked my work. There were, of course, a number of surprised and puzzled responses when people realized I'm using film and printing in a darkroom.
