I have a 20 year old Jobo CPP2 and a 3006 drum, which holds 6 sheets of 4x5 film. The drum says to use a minimum of 210ml and a maximum of 450ml of solution. I want to develop TMax 100/400 in TMaxRS, and will be testing for my personal film speeds so I'll be nailing down a time and temp later. But I am looking for how much total solution agitates well, and also how much developer is needed to develop 6 sheets (used 1-shot)? I saw somewhere that John Sexton recommends a 1+9 dilution. From this I assume I mix the stock solution of 1 gallon and dilute that 1+9.
I figured on a pre-soak of maybe 2-3 minutes, then lots of water rinse, 2 separate TF-4 fixes at 3 minutes each, and probably Kodak Hypo Clearing for the fun of it before final rinse and 5 minutes in an archival washer. Any advice/comments appreciated. If anyone can tell me how to find the former Jobo forum I would like to look there also.
Thanks!
