Hi Andrew.
I understand that you just ordered your Infrared film from FS, and that it is too late for me to help you for now.
The next time you replenish your stock, take a look at the products I just set as 'special order' on Argentix.Ca .
The 'special' is for the way it works; no rush-orders. The orders are received and processed once a month. If required, it could become twice a month.
'Special' is also for the fact the listed items are not on my regular stock; I priced them to reflect the fast turn-around.
'Special' is for some items that may be rarely-seen or hard to find.
And finally, 'special' because it is adaptive; let me know your needs and it will be my pleasure to analyze it and add to the list..

Keep shooting.

Jacques

Will do Jacques! Thank you! Your price is very good. I'll order from you when I run out of this batch. Are you well stocked with this film?

Mark, all my plastic 4x5 and 8x10 film holders (Lisco, Fidelity) are opaque to infrared. No worries. I used to shoot a lot of Kodak 4x5 IR, which was the only "real" IR film. It went out beyond 900nm. Never had issues with my holders then either.

I just went to your website, impressive, are you stocking all materials listed, and also do you handle Lith Chemistry?

Are plastic 4x5 film holders opaque to IR?

An acquaintance of mine had two sheets of factory-fresh Efke IR820 (NOT AURA) definitely fogged. He is usually extremely careful and pedantic, and the films were in the holders (Fidelity Astra = Lisco Mark II) for a few days prior to shooting. The darkslide may be the biggest culprit - perhaps a different type of plastic is safe, or one made of metal. Haven't heard about his further IR820 adventures, though. On the other hand, reading about it on the net, many people had no issues with plastic holders, so I'm not sure about this. YMMV, probably.

Hi again Andrew
As stated, the Special Order Service is for your replenishment purposes. If an item is standardized on my shelves, it will not show in the service.
Stop to think what you need in stock, only in papers : you will find it challenging for your mental-health  if you compose with all the brands, sizes, finishes. This is why I launched this service.
I order what you need (no rush order) and I price it accordingly to match the turn-around. Unless I missed something, this is the best price you could get.

Hi Bob
To answer your question, if you see a item quantity when you browse my web-pages, it is because this item is regular-stock - +/- some items displayed and available on eBay.

I presently have Fotospeed Lith developer LD20.
If you want something specific, let me know and I will work on it and let you know.

Take care, everybody!

I'm impressed with your bulk roll selection, some of those films I can't even get bulk HERE in the US!! lol Good job!

If you don't already... you should advertise on APUG because I'm sure lots of people would want to know about you!

Jacques:

Stone probably cannot see that your name is showing as an "Advertiser" here on APUG - he is almost certainly using his phone.

You should probably ad your website address link to your APUG posts either individually with each post (Stone would be able to see it then), or in your APUG signature.

Right to the point, Matt
I updated my signature and it should make things clearer.

Andrew, I was already involved in a topic on the LFPF, and I will update it today.

Cheers!

Haha! Whoops! Ironically at the time I actually WAS on my computer hah! I just apparently can't read.... I was just thinking I had not seen his ad, and I often look at them. Always interested in what else is out there.

I never noticed... sorry about that! I wrote about the availability of Rollei IR there in the Resource section. Perhaps you could add to it. Thanks!
