REDUCED - 4x5 PortaVu 45 View Camera with 135mm f/5.6 Caltar II lens and 90mm f/6.8 Wollensak Raptar Wide-Angle lens & 7 Lisco Regal II film holders - $185 including shipping (Continental US only).
This is a complete kit and an economical way for someone to get into large format.
I built this camera from a kit over 40 years ago. Over the years, the cherry wood has darkened into a beautiful deep color. It has a hand-rubbed Minwax Antique Oil Finish, as suggested in the assembly instructions. It is lightweight (only 2-3/4 lbs without lens). It has a 12 inch bellows. Very flexible with a full-range of camera movements on front and rear standards. I have added threaded nylon focusing "locks" on the bottom of the front standard to lock the focus in place. Similar threaded nylon focusing "locks" are on the sides of the front and rear standards on the "monorail" base. The non-geared, manual focusing and movements (push-pull) are smooth.
The 135mm Caltar lens had a CLA in 2015. The 90mm Wollensak lens looks clear and its shutter speeds sound accurate. The 135mm Caltar allows for comfortable camera movements. The 90mm Wollensak will cover the 4x5 film plane with limited movements.
Lisco Regal II 4x5 film holders - set of 7 holders
These holders are in very good condition. They are clean, light-tight and work smoothly. Also included - alternate base to mount camera for "monorail-like" movements good for close-up photography because both the front and rear standards can be moved independently - shown in 6th photo), extra lensboards, flat and recessed, recessed lensboard with a 90mm Wollensak wide-angle lens, focusing cloth, 13-page printed assembly instructions.
The camera and accessories will be shipped by USPS. Shipping only within the continental United States.
Payment via PayPal only. 14-day return (in same condition as you received it). You pay for return shipping.
