Is there ever a 4x5 holder made to hold FP-100C, not FP-100C45? I wouldn't mind part of the image getting cut off but I would just like to shoot some Polaroids with 4x5.

I know there are holders made for FP-100C45 but that film is pricey and hard to find nowadays.

Thanks all in advance

as mentioned above, it's the 405. there are 2 versions: most of them are not centered due to the design of the 4x5 cameras and the space that is left to insert the holder without having to remove the ground glass after focussing. the rare centered version doesn't fit into some cameras, so be aware or have a try first.

Thanks for the info. Still have a question..

1. Does it slide under the ground glass? It looks very thick.
2. And whoa... They're pricey!

1. Doesn't slide under Sinar, I seem to recall, but might for others. Depends on how far you can open the back. Might have to mount using Graflok slides.

2. Yup. But using instant film anymore is a rich man's game... so that should be no surprise.

My 645 or 6x7 holders costs much less than this 405 holder. But I do agree that Polaroid film is expensive nowadays. At around $1/sheet, I would rather shoot 4x5 B&W.

fp100c is up to $9 now, i think at the start of the summer it was $7-8ish? its not too bad in comparison to any of the kodak 4x5 black and white films, or the color 4x5 films, which are way more expensive per sheet. When it comes down to it, you dont even have to pay extra for chemicals to process it like the bw films! its already included in the purchase price!

The only thing is the initial cost of the holder, then its clear sailing from there until fuji discontinues the film, knock on wood.
