Greetings,

I was hoping to buy some 4x5 photo paper, but was told by my local photo supplier that it's not available unless purchased in quantities of 500 sheets or more.

Any leads on supplies of 4x5 paper, in quantities of less than 500 sheets?

Thanks!

Thanks - is there an easy method of cutting down the 8x10 in the dark?

Use a cutter with a stop. I use a Rotatrim.

Another option is to print 4-up on 8x10" and cut in the light. I have a Saunders proofing easel that lets me do this easily, and usually use it these days when I want to make a run of postcards.

B&W? You can use a safelight.

If this is colour 4" wide roll paper shouldn't be that hard to find.

I use a matt knife and straight edge, with one of those plastic cutting mats. I put several strips of white tape on the mat. One is a left edge (I'm right handed), and others have marks on them to indicate the dimensions I want to cut to.

With the safelight on, I lay several sheets of paper on the mat (face down), put the straight edge on top of the stack, and make the first cut. Then, I reorient the paper on the mat, and make the second cut.
