Hi,

I bought a pack of 4x5 Arista.edu ISO 200. I couldnt find the development times ANYWHERE!! : (

digitaltruth's chart says to use the same time as agfa apx films.. is this true? Should I dare try to develop with anything but sprint? (I have rodinal that I might want to try with 4x5)

Thanks so much, i love this forum to death..

Currently it is Fortepan 200. Nice film. I would try it in Rodinal 1+100 for 30 minutes at 20C with 2 inversions every 2-3 minutes (for silver printing). My favorite soup for it is Pyrocat HD.

Best regards

And just to be sure--Arista.edu 200 is the same as Fortepan 200, J&C Classic 200, and Bergger 200.

Arista.edu ultra 200 is the same as Fomapan 200.

With these films, you should generally test before you shoot too much, because speed can vary from batch to batch with storage conditions.

I agree with the variation comment. I've not used the Arista.edu 200, but have used about 20 rolls of both the 100 and the 400.
I love the 400, it's great. The 400 was about as fast as the 100 and just all over the map as far as defects and contrast went
Just my experience, may certainly not be yours.
