I have a 400mm tele-fujinon. Great lens and sharp as a tack. Since it's a tele, of course the nodal point is in front of the lens, making front swings and tilts just about impossible (see wisner.com for more about this). Since I do landscape and use it for those "out there" detail shots, I don't care about lack of front movements.
I used to have a 360mm tele-xenon. I hated the compound shutter. Dean
