Once upon a time, Schneider Kreuznach's flagship lens was a Dagor type.
I've had Gold Dot Kern's and Blue Dot Trigor's come and go, and this lens, though not nearly as valuable, has been the 'keeper'.
It covers about 80 degrees which means it is useful on 8X20 and 12X15 formats if needed. On 8X10 and 11X14 it has a ton of movements possible.
I don't propose to know Schneider's coating history but this thing, even though it's 1939 made, reflects back blue light like it is coated. And it behaves that way too. Gorgeous contrast! Crisp and sharp, just like you'd expect a Dagor to be.
The shutter is running excellently and it has a brass jamb nut for mounting.
$515 is a gift for a lens that covers ULF!!
