369t xrite

after my 361t failed and i was quoted a $500 repair bill i came across a 369 t xrite for free . will this densitometer work for reading pyro stained negs for PT/pd printing. it looks the same as my 361t except for the orange cover.

The specs look similar - the 369 has less range than the 361t but they have similar applications according to their website. Free sounds like a good price for a product with "request a quote" listed in the place of a monetary amount.
