35mm slide holder dimensions

I am trying to build a new film strip holder for the Nikon ES-1 slide copy adapter.
it's designed to take 35mm slide mounts.

I think I would need something that has the exact dimensions of a slide mount but is open on both sides, so I can push the film strip through frame by frame.
If anybody has a reference to the exact dimension please post them here.
