35mm roll enlarged as 8x10 negative possible?

I’m working in a project for which I want to enlarge an entire roll of 35mm film. Essentially an enlarged contact sheet. I’m going to stay within 36 exposures max for what I’m doing.
If I cut and align it right could I fit those strips of 36 frames onto an 8x10 enlarger negative carrier, hopefully with some ANR glass to support it, and the enlarge the entire thing?

I don’t have an 8x10 negative enlarger but my local lab does.
How should I cut the film strips to make it fit best? Strips of 6 frames?

7 strips of 5 frames (ie 35, rather than 36 exposures) will fit more comfortably into an 8x10 enlarger, if it's a 10x10, you can go for 6 strips of 6 if you want.

Enlarged contact sheets were (and to an extent are) pretty standard things - and yes, it was essentially a case of putting the strips of film into the glass carrier of an 8x10/10x10 enlarger. Nothing terribly complicated!

This... enlarged 35mm proofsheets were commonly offered be major custom labs back in the day...

Wow that above example is exactly what I want. that looks like it came from an enlarger bigger than 8x10.

No - you'd need a 10x10" - a Durst 184 or equivalent - to comfortably handle 6 across, but nothing bigger. It's also been made with the negs still in the Print File sleeve.
