Hi all

Appreciate the help with 24 and 28 mm lenses for my Nikon SLR. I am going with the Sigma mini wide 2.8.
Now, any good cheap 35mm lenses you know of? 2.8 or even 3.5 fine. By cheap, I mean less than 100 EUR
Maybe it's easier to get 24s and 28s for this low price.

I paid around $60 for my 35mm f/2.5 E Series Nikon lens. It's in their budget series but I think it looks great.

Spend a little bit more, perhaps, and get a f/2 Nikkor. Focuses down to about 23cm. That lens lives on my F2 and FM. For many years it was the only lens I had for my Nikon F2.

Are you looking for preAI or AI version. In the pre AI days both Vivitar and Sologiar made 35 2.8 in Nikon Mount that ought be too expensive.

Why do you need another wide lens?
If you have a Sigma 28, is that good enough to pair with your 50?
I shot with a kit of a 24 and a 43-86 for decades. I did not feel the need to have a 28 or 35 in between.

Or are you looking at the 35 to be a single 'walk-about' lens.

Yes, I'm thinking of 35mm as walk around but I now see quite decent and nice nikon midrange zooms that could be better since I'm not so concerned about speed

In full daylight, and with a careful eye, I'm really enjoying the 28-85mm f3.5-4.5
