35mm finder

Looking for a great finder for use with the 35mm focal length. I have one of the early canon finders which is OK but given this is my most used focal length, I'd like to get something with a larger viewport and brightlines.

I have a couple of the CV black plastic finders in 21 and 25mm and those seems nice but I'm wondering how these compare to the round metal style CV ones. The silver metal one would probably look more correct on my Nikon S2 but I'm really looking for function. A Leica SBLOO also looks like a decent option, but am thinking probably isn't gonna be MC and be more prone to flare out in bright light. I have a couple of the later model round canon finders with bright lines in the longer focal lengths and like them too, but not sure how the wide angles ones work. I also saw sony has a zeiss branded one but it's $$$.

Anyway, just looking for opinions on the holy grail 35mm finder I am looking for

I have the CV 21/25 chrome finder which I think looks much nicer than the 21 or 25 plastic finders, especially on a chrome body. Image view and functionality are pretty much the same.
I do use a Leitz 3.5cm SBLOO and it's awesome. I use it on Leica Barnack bodies, a Bessa T and a Contax IIA, and it's really bright with decent eye relief. No issues with flare that I have ever encountered. A bit bigger that the equivalent Cosina, but it's just about perfect. If you find a clean one at a fair price, grab it. Good Luck!

I have the Leica SBLOO, a Zeiss and the little Voigtlander 28-35. I found a Russian finder for my daughter’s M3, and it’s a very nice finder even though with plastic housing.
I probably use the little 28-35 most often because of its small size, sitting low on my sm cameras still makes them pocketable. If any of these finders have flare, I have never given it much notice. More concerned with possible flare with taking lens, where it counts.

I guess my concern was that an older finder will be more likely to have internal haze. I have a couple of old finders that were unusable outdoors in bright light, even if the light source wasn't in the frame. Some are easy to clean, some are next to impossible to disassemble if the elements are swedge mounted and the haze it between those elements.

I have the plastic and the metal CV finders. The metal ones are worth paying extra for - functionality is pretty much the same - but they are so much nicer to look at, touch, use, fondle....
And look much better on pretty much any camera.

Crapped out Oly XA or Minox 35. Their normal state of operation these days is - crapped out. Take 35 framed VF from where, put the rest where it belongs, on recycle. Some were able to reuse Minox 35 lens as well.

To me the best 35m finder is the Sony Zeiss one, followed closely by the Leica "36mm" finder.
